New Slowrise and Vision Blinds In Our Showroom

Come to our new showroom to look at our new range of slowrise and vision. Slowrise blinds are an effective and stylish way of using a roller blind. Firstly, its chainless so its more sleek and its usability is easier. Secondly, the aesthetics of the blind give it a minimalist, contemporary look.  With each slowrise blind, there is a matching pelmetwhich you can have the matching material to cover it or one of the following colours (white, black, chrome and gold).  You can even add a scallop to this type of blind.

 

We now have a new range of bright vision blind colours including scarlet, sunset, ochre,paradise green jade and navy. These colours certainly make a statement.

Blind Automation

Soon it might be possible for every home to be able to use automation with an arduino microcontroller. In the not so far away future, once made readily available for domestic use, we at Smiths Blinds will be the first to know.

What this actually means is that with this technology, any home could have responsive window blinds to the daylight, which open automatically. It could also mean that you could program the exact time you want your blinds to open and shut.

This could be a great thing for those early mornings which come about through daylight savings. This is especially good if you have young children, that either won’t sleep at the right time at night or get up too early ( remember to alway choose blackout blinds in this scenario ) .
